Why would only humans make use of eco-friendly technology? Studio OOOMS designed a birdhouse with a solar panel on it’s roof. During the day sunlight feeds the solar panel , charging a small battery inside. At twilight the transparent stick will light up and cast a tiny light on your garden.

This light attracts an easy nighttime snack for the bird; all she has to do is stick her beak out of the hole and wait for the buzz.

The Milkmaid by Studio Oooms is not your typical Dutch Souvenir. Inspired by Johannes Vermeer’s innocent painting ‘Het Melkmeisje’ (The Milkmaid) this blue and white ceramic dildo is a perfect alternative to bringing back windmills, clogs and tulips.

Oooms and Grosemans designed ‘Dutch Delight’ dildo for the ‘Dutch Souvenir’ project initiated by EKWC (European Ceramic Work Centre) in the Netherlands. The EKWC invited 41 designers and visual artists to develop new versions of typical Dutch souvenirs.
